n westelyk betrokke donderlugt;

kreeg tyding dat de wagen aan de andere syde Cabas, in de klippen was gebroken, sond ten eersten hulp.
in den agtermiddag een fris donderweer uit den westen, met frisse regen en wind. dat de lugt zeer verkoelde en het verschroeide veld seer nodig was.

North-westerly wind. Overcast, thundery sky.

Got news that the wagon had broken down in the stones the other side of Cabas. Sent help at once. A fresh thunderstorm from the west in the afternoon, fresh wind and rain which cooled the air greatly and which the parched countryside badly needed.
