Took observation and found latitude: 33 degrees 19 minutes and 5 sec. I climbed a high mountain west-north-west from here in two and a half hours; returned at night-fall

Cold last night.
West-north-west wind in the morning. Overcast but cleared up.
Strong south-south-east wind on the mountain with claps of thunder so that I ceased taking my observations.
Very cold on top: 55 deg.
