maaken alles tot ons vertrek klaar om van avond langs de laatste plaats van enen Willem van wyk aan de mietjes fontein ook langs bidouw rivier af te trekken. arriveerden na twe uur en drie quartier ossewagen rydens dog een klippig en drayend wagenpad door en langs bidouwrivier, op de voornoemde plaats alwaar wy uit spanden.

We got everything ready to depart this evening through the last farm, belonging to a certain Willem van Wyk, on the Mietjesfontein and also along the Biedouw River. We arrived at the afore-mentioned farm where we outspanned after having travelled for two and three quarter hours with the ox-wagon through and beside the Biedouw River on a stony, winding wagon-road.
