de wagen niet komende ging haar te gemoed en trof haar by de hottentots kraal uitgespannen.

It was cool with an east wind last night. They were bringing in the harvest which has turned out well. Very hot. East wind in the morning, a fresh southerly wind mostly throughout the day and south-east in the evening.
As the wagon had not come I went to meet it and came upon it outspanned at the Hottentots' kraal.
