nam afscheit van de predicant, en het geselschap dat my tot hier verseld had. en vertrok na losper by riebeek Casteel alwaar na twe uren te paart arriveerde; had de koorts met den avond, zynde al enige tyt coorsig geweest aan de Caap.

Took leave of the preacher and of the party that accompanied me here and left for Losper’s [Loubser] at Riebeeck Kasteel where I arrived after a two-hour’s ride on horseback. Ran a temperature in the evening having been feverish for some time at the Cape.
