sy leven in de grond als de konynen en doen veel schade aan het koorn. houdende meest langs de riviertjes.

The farm of De Beer lies 32 degrees 6 minutes south, about 6 degrees east of the Cape.
They live in holes like rabbits and do much damage to corn. It is usually found along rivers.
