Went south two hours from here to a certain Du Pré’s at Crombeks River in order to enquire after the wagon. Heard that it had been waiting, with 23 others, on the other side of the Gourits River and that it had got through yesterday morning. The wind came up from the north-west with a thundershower and rain. Coming from far off this continued in the evening and at night, though with many gusts of rain here. Returned in the afternoon to Holtzhuisen's.
