Cool easterly breeze. Fine weather, the sky somewhat cloudy.

Went on a bontebok and wild-horse (zebra) hunt but got nothing. We saw some bontebok and so-called hartebeest. We went to pay my Hottentot a visit and found his wife sick, and her face painted.
