Fresh south-east wind, fine weather. Departed west, crossing many high ridges. After a distance of two and a half hours, came to the Rietvlei, the first tributary of the Kaugga and after an hour and a half or an hour and three quarters arrived at the Avontuur River, the first tributary of the Camnassi River. All the same terrain. This is considered to be halfway through the Langkloof District. Found I was not well again. Fine weather though hot. Fresh north wind.
