't selfde weer en wind

arriveerden na vele draayen door klippen en sukkelens, vier uren rydens aan de rivier, dese plaats hiet het bos om dat er langs de rivier hier wat meer bomen staan. maakte my gereed om hier twe uren bewesten de rivier te passeeren en met draagossen, het namacqua land in te gaan. sullende myn wagens na de drift ryden en my daar wagten.

The same weather and wind.

With many turns through rocks and hindrances we arrived at the river after travelling for four hours. Called this place The Forest because a there are more trees beside the river here. Made myself ready to cross the river two hours west of here and to go into Namaqualand with pack-oxen. My wagons will travel to the drift and wait for me there.
