vertrok langs swartebaas kraal na Josias engelbregt in de bergvaley, daar met den avond arriveerde

de bergen aan dese zyde oliphants riv syn meer gebroken en niet so hoog als aan overzyde die 5 myl van hier leggen.

The same weather and wind but hotter. Heavy dew this morning. Very hazy.

Departed by way of Swartebaaskraal to Josias Engelbrecht in the Bergvlei and arrived there in the evening.
The mountains on this side of the Oliphants River are more broken and are not as high as those that lie on the other side, five miles from here.
