Object data

  • Place: The farm Kweekvlei is on the site of the present town of Prince Albert.
  • Date: 14th to 17th December 1778 (or perhaps 19th January 1786).
  • Gordon had visited Kweekvallei with the governor Van Plettenberg from 14th to 17th December 1778, but there are no journal entries for this period. He returned on 19th January 1786 by which time she had remarried.
